Docking station or second monitor not working

Restore dual monitors, keyboard, and network through a dock in a few minutes.

Help center
  1. Unplug the dock's power for 30 seconds, then reconnect it. A dock holds its own state and a full power cycle fixes most cases.
  2. Reseat the single cable between the laptop and the dock at both ends — this is the most common failure point.
  3. Press Windows+P and choose Extend. A laptop that resumed from sleep often reverts to a single-screen mode.
  4. Swap the monitor cable to the other video port on the dock. If one port works and the other does not, tell us which ones in the ticket.

Include the dock model and how many screens should be connected when you open the ticket — it usually saves a round trip.
