Microsoft 365 and Accounts
Share a calendar or book a meeting
Give staff visibility into a calendar and stop double-booked hearings.
Help center
- In Outlook, open Calendar, right-click the calendar name, and choose Sharing and permissions.
- Enter the colleague's address and pick a permission level: 'Can view titles and locations' for most staff, 'Can edit' only for assistants who schedule.
- For a Teams meeting, create the event and click Teams Meeting before sending so the join link is embedded in the invite.
- Mark court dates and hearings as Busy, never Free — free time is what scheduling assistants offer to others.
Calendar permissions can take up to an hour to apply. If a shared calendar still shows as empty after that, open a Microsoft 365 ticket.
